Travel Do Tuesday: The Dynomighty Wallet

I’m always on the hunt for new and exciting products to use while I travel or bounce around time.  And then there are those products that just look awesome.

I’m going to…

Get my hands on a Dynomighty Wallet.  The company started in 2001 by a guy named Terrance Kellerman living in New York City, Dynomighty wallets first went on sale in 2005.  The design is unique because of its pioneering DupPont Tyvek fabric, which allows the whole wallet to be folded and made out of a single sheet and completely stitch-free.  From Kellerman’s initial $300 investment, the Dynomighty Wallet is sold in over 60 countries and over 1800 stores in just 10 years.  Not bad for a former struggling artist!

The company is also a pioneer in creative low-cost marketing, being recognized for their efforts by YouTube and being the first product company that used a QR Code in a television ad.  The company has a wide variety of designs in both traditional and passport sizes, an artist collective to have designers showcase their work, and you can even get a custom-designed wallet.  Maybe I should get one for the show…

Or maybe I should get this badass Batman wallet.

Now the real question: are the wallets RFID-blocking?
